I will love being away from a city and having land and a decent home to work with but, as an Army Veteran - Retired I need a hospital nearby to deal with 2 heart attacks I had recently, meds. Cancer follow up's. I think I remember TOGUS. Veterans Hospital. I love these areas in the North though and get excited watching the videos Andrew. I have a high school buddy from Maine in Florida and he'd help me. He would return. We are in the same boat in life and understand November this country could explode. Los Angeles gangs are already taking advantage of the hate, racism. Murders and rapes on our beaches here near Malibu. Santa Monica Police I am close to for my work (Homeland Security) retiring, they have their hands full right now. 40,000 Homeless too. My God poor California. I see these videos and tear up. My home. State f Maine. FREEDOM. We have so much to discuss. The LAWS with regard to lakeshore property is for young people, I haven't the time or energy to fight with State, City laws about cutting a tree. lol I know to protect my State. Respect it. I owned 3 Central Ave Waterville in 1998 as you know by now $43,000 cash to Greg Perkins Realty. Is he still around? I would never use him he robbed me $4800.00 lost because of him. So I sold my beautiful home I was so upset. I allowed my Maine temper get the best of me. That home is now worth $163,000. Sad. OK I will call. You could list this for $50 and somebody would say it's overpriced I literally just saw a waterfront camp that needed a complete overhaul on a quarter acre in Lincoln for 400k and 100 acres with a five-bedroom house just in a different County the value you can get in Maine is still better than anywhere else in the country

Times have certainly changed and PRICES TOO. Wow, what 20 years does to a Mainers wallet. This home needs lots of work inside. I sometimes think it is better to build your own home with your own style, quality materials. Nice walls. Ceilings, etc. Just buy 50 acres in Northern Maine near a lake but, NOT lakeside, or near any water due to laws in Maine. Need permission to even cut a small tree. Build etc. which I get because they come from other States and wish to change the entre landscape. Build long boat landings and make them permanent. lol Harming the lake, wild nature, and swimmer, boaters etc. I am learning a great deal. I don't like these older homes and the walls etc. I'll build myself after seeing many properties. They need work and it's costly.

Yes, true story a film Jimmy Halloway, based on all true events about a Mainer is being filmed). Foster homes. US Army saving me. Corporate life 35 years. Then 1996 bought 3 Central Ave and yes, Mark Carter was there for me. His Uncle was an ENGINEER who built some Bridges in Maine. One is Waterville/Winslow route over kennebec River. I gave him my business $43,000 cash 1996 3 Central Ave. waterville. Then Hollywood film jobs came up so I RENTED it cheap to friends and then they moved and Greg moved people he knew in. THET NNEVER PAID US RENT. He never asked for the rent. After 7 months I paid him $100.00 monthly to manage that property. Just get the rent. Nothing else. I flew back to see him, 'where are the letters Greg demanding payment?' He had nothing to say to me" disgusting. I had $4300.00 in damage and lost rent. LOSS. Sold it through CENTRU 21. A top selling girl who sold it in 3 days. I was gone 1998. Never returned. I had to HEAL from that . I have. Now retiring I must make a decision soon. Back to Europe or Maine.

Wow, very nice. My wife and I were up at Presque Isle Monday thru Wednesday, nice area, amazed at how clean the roads were. Will retire in Maine in 3 yrs, have to decide where, siding with the Lakeville area, more water than what we saw in Presque Isle. Ate diner at Governor’s restaurant,nice people.

Deeded right away ? Lots of work to do,& wonder if the work done will pass inspection… as this looks like a homeowner special…
